Buy Objects

What do you consider when buying objects? Allow this site to help you answer your question.

First of all, probably the most important consideration in buying an object is its significance to you: is it a need or is it a want? The answer to this will determine the series of decisions you have to make in buying this particular object. Factors affected by determining if an object is a need or a want includes price, quality, length of its utilization, and availability or rarity. The degree of happiness varies in each factor when it falls either under your need or your want.

An object that is so expensive, for example, will give you good pleasure when you buy it because you need it as opposed to a cheap object that you just want. Expensive objects bought under your category of wants often stimulate the feeling of guilt. But if you buy something that you really want for a long period of time, sometimes the border diminishes making this object your need (because not buying it would only cause you stress) and thus you won’t feel any guilt at all. After all, we buy to satisfy ourselves in general, whether it is a need or a want. Let us just learn to prioritize what we need the most.
